Immigration & Naturalization Law

Fowler Rodriguez provides individualized legal service to its clients. Our immigration attorneys work closely with each client to understand the practical aspects of their business, which enables us to provide them with advice and services adapted to their needs. Although our immigration client base is originally from Latin America, our firm has since expanded to include representation of clients throughout the world.

Our attorneys come from diverse backgrounds, meaning that no matter the client, our attorneys will be able to communicate fluently to understand cultural nuances of their native countries. Not only do we speak the languages, but we are also able to negotiate and to draft legal documents in these languages.

Lawyers of the firm have been employed by the United States Government, both in Washington D.C., and overseas, with foreign governments and with international organizations. When a transaction involves foreign law, the firm can call upon lawyers throughout the world with whom it maintains close relationships.

The firm’s worldwide clients often require immigration assistance. Our immigration group has developed particular expertise in helping foreigners obtain EB5 or “Investor Visas.” These visas allow foreigners to invest a requisite amount ($500,000 - $1,000,000) in exchange for permanent residence in the United States/a Green Card. Additionally, with changes to the U.S. immigration laws imminently approaching, Fowler Rodriguez clients will be prepared to navigate this uncharted territory.

Services provided to our clients include:

  • Advice and counseling regarding United States Immigration and Naturalization procedures and the alternatives available to those who wish to live and work in the U.S.; assistance in preparing the appropriate visa petitions and in structuring new business enterprises in the U.S.; assistance in connection with the USCIS or Consular processing of visa applications.
  • Assistance to foreign companies in forming subsidiaries and representative offices in the U.S.; as well as corporate counseling for commercial operations; assistance in the areas of trademark registration and licensing; taxation and real estate transactions.
